April, 2008 |
On the second of April an exposition has been opened at the
Witte de With, center for contemporary art in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. During a two
month exposition the artist, Geoffrey Farmer, uses an aircraft interior as
inspiration and source of material for his art. AELS supplied this material
from which a complete interior mock-up has been created. During the first month
of this exhibition Geoffrey will alter his creations continuously. Visitors are
therefore invited to visit the exhibition more than once to experience the
changes.
Geoffrey has done a similar project in the past in Vancouver under the name "Airliner Open
Studio". The art centre, Witte de With, is open from Tuesday till Sunday from
11:00 until 18:00 hours.
