10th OEA International Aluminium Recycling Congress |
February 3, 2009 |
The
world economy is suffering heavily from the financial crisis. The metal
prices have fallen dramatically within a very short period. Car
manufacturers, by far the largest users of aluminium casting alloys,
are cutting their production. What does this mean for the recycling of
aluminium in Europe? What are the future short, mid and long term
perspectives? What is the impact of the European environmental
legislation on recycling? Are there new technical innovations to
improve the competitiveness of the Aluminium Recycling Industry?
These and a lot of other interesting and important items are on the agenda of the 10th OEA International Aluminium Recycling Congress at the Hilton Hotel in Berlin on 2 and 3 March 2009. Particularly in periods of economic downturn the meeting with colleagues, suppliers and customers can be helpful. OEA offers the ideal chance to exchange views and to find out what is going on in the market and to explore the chances for an improvement.
The Congress, inaugurated in 1990 and held every two years, has developed into a renowned international platform in the field of aluminium recycling. The OEA as organiser of the Congress is guarantee for expert knowledge and a professional organisation of the event. A circle of selected experts guarantees that the quality of the presentations will do justice to the high standard of the Congress.
For further information please look here or contact Mrs. Ilona Esser. AELS will give a presentation on aircraft recycling as the aluminium recycling market follows after the dismantling of an aircraft.
