the January number of the quarterly magazine made by and for the Dutch
car recycling industry an article was written about AELS and aircraft
disassembly and dismantling. The Dutch car recycling industry works
together under the name Auto Recycling Nederland (ARN, Car Recycling Netherlands).

During the Aircraft Commerce 5th Annual Operating Leasing Conference and the Aviation Industry Group 3rd Annual Airline Engineering & Maintenance Conference for the Indian Sub-Continent AELS launched its new quick scan. The old quick scan has been replaced by a free scan. This scan assists aircraft owners with determining whether or not they should look at the end-of-life value of a specific aircraft in more detail . AELS introduced two new indicators; retireability and disassembleability. These two combined give the End-of-Life Status (ELS) of an aircraft.
