AELS Website online

The website of AELS has been online for a few weeks now. AELS is very pleased with the result as are many visitors. The website is designed and developed by Merge  who are currently developing some other elements of the website. These elements are not visible for the main public and will go online within a few weeks.

The website will get a closed section for which our partners and clients will get access via a login. They can then have access to their personal information. This will make it possible to communicate and share files in a fast and a well organized fashion, all information combined and accessible all over the world. Also every member of the AELS network is asked to fill in a form. With that information we will be able to determine which information is interesting for which partner. In that way we will prevent unnecessary communication and save both our time and that of our partners.

End-of-Life Aircraft article in jubilee edition of Leonardo Times.

The Faculty of Aerospace Engineering part of the Delft University of Technology has one of the biggest student societies in the Netherlands. This Society of Aerospace Engineering Students is named 'VSV Leonardo da Vinci' (VSV is a Dutch abbreviation for Vliegtuigbouwkundig Studie Vereniging which means Society of Aerospace Engineering Students). One of their activities is the creation of a quarterly magazine which is called Leonardo Times. This magazine is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special March edition, which was recently published. AELS is very pleased that the founder of AELS was approached to write an article about End-of-Life Aircraft. If you are interested in reading this article you can download the article here.

KLM 737-400 Disposal

AELS will provide the project management for the disposal of a KLM 737-400 currently parked in a corner of Barcelona Airport. This project is given to AELS by KLM Engineering and Maintenance (KLM E&M). KLM E&M is a MRO company with the highest possible demands on airport and environmental safety. AELS is therefore very pleased that they have chosen us as their partner in this project.
